DFM History – a start up story by the book.


1991 – blood, sweat & tears 
The company DFM J. Wollinger was founded in the garage of a family home by Mr. Jürgen Wollinger.
It was originally located in 3160 Traisen, Gölsensiedlung 1.
1995 – Expansion & Precision
The first expansion took place in the year of 1995 when factory premises were bought in Rohrbach/Gölsen and a high tech permanent establishment was constructed.
1996 – Specialization & Entity 
In the scope of huge orders like the construction of a prototype for the serial production of the Viennese metro, the first CNC high speed milling machine was acquired. From there on the company more and more focused on 1:1 prototype manufacturing for metros, cable cars, boat building and aircraft construction. 
In the year 1999 the one-man-business became a limited company.
2001 – Construction & Extension
More orders followed. To be able to handle the volume of orders another production hall was built. Moreover two other 5-axis-milling machine were bought, which made it possible to mill work pieces of 12 meter length. 
2004 a new entrance area was constructed.
2009 – Goals & Targets
In the end of the year 2009 DFM Tooling GmbH was taken over by Xenox Capital and renamed as DFM Technologies GmbH.

Fit for the future. DFM Technologies GmbH wins the assets of the company. With the existing know how and great motivation DFM Technologies continues being a competent partner in the field of mold design.
